| Stand alone smoke detectors the market leader in fire safety products. This is a stand-alone smoke detector with dual ionization smoke sensing chamber. It is ul approved product. They are fast and easy to install and are mounted on a bracket which needs no wiring and it runs on a 9v dc battery. The horn output is 85 decibels at 10 ft. These smoke alarms should be placed in family households, in each individual unit of multiple family buildings, schools, collages, offices, factories and just anywhere. Features: dual ionization smoke sensing chamber – early detection of fast burning fires such as gasoline, cooking grease and paper installation design and features similar to other firex smoke alarms – contractor familiarity with installation lighted power / alarm led – confirms unit is receiving power incorporates firex installer focused innovations – fastest and easiest installation available factory sealed housing – prevents tampering and provides outstanding durability architectural specifications: the smoke alarm shall be a style line design (1 – 1/8” high, 4” wide), powered by a 9 v dc, battery power source and a dual ionization sensing chamber and sealed housing with a separate metal mounting bracket. The alarm shall produce two short chirps approximately 2 seconds apart at the conclusion of the desensitized period. Nominal sensitivity shall be measured by ul at obs. 1. 1 + - 0. 47% ft. And by ulc at 1. 1 %, temperature operating range shall be between 40 and100 f (4 – 38 degree celsius). Humidity range between 10 % - 93 % relative humidity; 100 % solid state alarm circuits over an input range of 7 – 10 v dc. A power on indicator shall be a built in light emitting diode which “blinks” once per minute in the standby condition. A 30-day battery signal shall be included for added safety. The test switch shall electronically activate the chamber to simulate smoke and check for proper operation. The electronic horn shall have a level of 85 decibels at 10 feet. The 462 shall meet the requirements of u. L. Standard 217. |
